Starting today Twitter is implementing a change that allows users to change the look of their profiles by showing a big header image above their tweets. The uploaded image appears as the background of their profile pictures, in a similar way to Facebook Timeline.

The upgrade will be visible both in the mobile app, either for phones or tablets, and in the web page for desktop computers.
